Installation Notes:
1.: Unrar and run Install.exe to extract the setup files to a temporary directory.
2.: When its done go the directory you extracted the files to and runREGSETUP.EXE to setup the reg entries, then run MP3DECODER.EXE to convert the mp3s to wavs.
3.: Then run ADDSOUND.BAT to put the wavs back into the pak file and then you are free to delete the SOUND dir if you do so wish.
4.: Once that is done you can run QUAKE3.EXE to play.
Note:
As you know this game is mainly internet based you will NOT be able to play online with this release.. Sorry, but the online protection is server based :(
If you want to play the game Online you will need a valid key.
Also if you have any opengl errors make sure you get the glsetup from this URL
